When King Merric and Queen Anora had their first child, they named her Estelle. Estelle meant Star, and it is said that their daughter shined as bright as any star. She was beautiful, large green eyes, bronze colored hair, pale skin. Even as an infant, people were asking to betroth their children to her. The King and Queen said no of course, they told them that it was her choice to marry who she wanted. While they had always wanted the best for their young one, they knew that dictating her life would only lead to a dysfunctional relationship between them. But there was always something strange about the girl, even as a small one. She seemed to have a strong connection with nature, her father even watching as trees would bend to her will, or water would move in order to allow her to pass. It wasn't until she was around 7 years old that the king decided to invite his magical advisor to visit the child. After a short hour with her, he came to the conclusion that the princess was, indeed, born with magical abilities. As Estelle closed in on her 22 birthday, her parents insisted that it was about time for her to marry. They kept to their word, however, letting her choose who she would marry. Estelle decided that she would hold a ball, this ball would be open to the public and the nobles. There, she would find someone to spend her time with, and if she felt they were the one, they would continue to see each other. There was, of course, worry that her magical abilities would prevent any man from marrying the girl. But Estelle was confident that that would never happen. She would not marry a man that did not care of her magical abilities. But what will happen when the castle is attacked during the ball and a mysterious man is asked by her father to take Estelle somewhere safe?
