The cage accelerated its speed as the top came closer and closer. I panicked and collapsed back to the floor where I originally had awoken. I watched as the ceiling came too fast for comprehension. I thought that'd be the end of me. Then it stopped. It was silent. Even the pig that had been crying on the way up here died out it's sounds. Up top, past two panels of doors on the floor, shouting could be heard from the other side. I kept myself on the floor, helplessly attempting to slow down my beating heart in my chest. The doors rattled for a second before they swung open, revealing sunlight to pierce my eyes. I blocked the rays and tried to make out the people in front of me. There were a few, maybe ten at the most. I could tell they were all staring down at me, curiously letting their eyes explore. One of the members of the group dropped down and I finally was able to see his face. Blond hair, running down to his visible jawline and the lightest blue I ever seen for eyes. He examined me for a second before he smiled. "Welcome newbie."
