Myla was an adventurous girl. She was always out in the woods playing with the creatures or riding her beloved stallion, Blaez. Myla wasn't anything like the other women she grew up around. She didn't want to settle down with a husband and have kids right away. She wanted to explore the world and find ways to help the people of Eryt. Eryt was a beautiful place, but it was also very dangerous. Darkness was coming, but everything in Myla told her she was to help those around her. She was a girl of strength, a leader and everyone that met her knew. She was no stranger when it came to combat. She had worked with her father at the docks since she was able to carry the cargo back and forth from the ship and whenever the boys thought it would be funny to pick on her she let them know she didn't care for their remarks. Her mother always preached to her how ladies don't fight and how men are the ones who look after the fragile women, but her father knew how much she hated those lectures and would always distract her mother long enough for her to slip away. Her father showed her how to sail, how to ride horses, tame wild animals, survive in the wilderness, and how to fight with her swords. Everything she was was because of him. Myla's story began when her town was attacked by raiders and her father was taken. Now she must find herself while searching for her father. Are Myla's parents really her own? What will she have to overcome to save all of Eryt? The story is just beginning.
