Words. They have the power to command, the power to destroy...the power to save a life or to end one. Words are as fire; they can burn a forest, or console a weary traveler. They can light the way, they can forge the strongest steel, and they can herald the flamed tempest of destruction itself. But words are nothing against thoughts. A thought, as water, can douse the flames of the hottest fire, the raining of thoughts can calm any burning forest. A thought can bring down a city in a whirlwind tempest, or rain down in the fiercest storm. However thoughts are also life. Just as every man needs water, so does every man need to think. Just as the farmer is grateful for the season's rain, so is a mind grateful for a logical thought. And so here are my fiery words that rain down from the cloudtops of my mind.
