Helena has always loved the Disney character Peter Pan. One night when her world gets turned upside down, she speaks of her belief in him, out into the darkness. Helena unknowingly causes Peter Pans shadow to come and bring her to Neverland. There she mets her childhood friend come to life in the worst way possible - as a smug, magical teenage boy. Helena has to find a way to survive with the Lost Boys and Pan, not that she could go home even if she wanted to. Pan refuses to let her leave for unknown reasons and if it weren't for Henry, another boy on the island, Helena might not have been able to survive. Helena must live on the island in all it's mystery, evil and teenage boys while Henry's family struggles to get him back, maybe saving Helena in the process. Peter Pan never liked girls. They were weak and unfit for the Neverland lifestyle. When a girl gets brought to Neverland Pan has every intention to send her home. But there is one thing preventing him from doing so. He can't tell when she's on the island. Unlike everyone else, wherever Helena is on the island, Pan can't sense her. This makes her a threat to him and also a mystery. Pan has to figure out what Helena is all while crushing these feelings that keep bubbling up when he's with her. And he'll do whatever it takes to find the answers he needs. Note: Peter Pan isn't Rumplestiltskin's father in this story. Also sorta a slow-burn seeing as you don't just fall for someone the second you meet them All the characters and locations belong to ABCs Once Upon A Time, except for Helena and her family. The plot is based on ABCs Once Upon A Time episodes 3x01 - 3x11 showing the things that I see would happen if Helena was factored in.
