After the Civil War, the life in Vittil Ghar has changed beyong recognition. With the reign of the new government, Cassandra, William and Jethro's parentless lives became an ongoing struggle for survival. Their routine of Countings and travelling to faraway cities to obtain the necessities is disrupted by a sudden arrival of Sargon, the president's son, who seems to have lost his memory and is hopelessly lost in the woods of the city he's assigned to take care of. By spending time with those he has been taught to fear and hate from very young age, Sargon realises that there is more to the common folk than just rebellion and disobedience. All that he knows, or at least what he thinks he knows, is challenged when he begins to form closer relationships with his saviours. As the four young people begin the journey to solve the Sargon problem, they discover not only themselves but also the true power and worth of friendship and unconditional love.
