The Royal family of South Korea resided in Seoul, where ordinary teenager Ko So-Min lived. Prince Kang Ji-Woo started attending Seoul High wanting to stop being home schooled for so long, his parents decided that he should start having some friends and learn the basics of his people the Commoners. When Commoner So-Min meets Prince Ji-Woo, she isn't at all fazed about the idea that he is a Prince at all and treats him like any other Commoner. As the Queen and King declares to the Prince and Seoul High that Ji-Woo must choose a bride among the Commoner women in the school, the Prince refuses to marry any of them until a new discovery of what his grandfather had made in his will before he passed away, comes to light from the King and Queen. The will stated that Ji-Woo is to be betrothed to the youngest daughter of the Ko family. When the Queen showed the photo of the girl to Ji-Woo, he is shocked to see that it is Ko So-Min. After being forced to marry Ji-Woo, So-Min becomes miserable living in the Palace until the Prince starts to develop feelings for So-Min and before she knows it, she starts to gain the same feelings and so they face obstacles in their relationship during the last three months of their High School before they can fully be together.
