She was left, by everyone. Her parents were murdered. Her brother left her. She was left to rule the pack by herself. So she did, but not all too kindly. She was harsh but fair. He grew up in a loving family, in a loving pack, but he didn't belong. His heart was made of stone, ice-cold, like the colour of his eyes. His sister was made Alpha and he was the Bèta. He hated the pack, but he stood by his sister's side. - When fire meets fire, war breaks out, but you can't miss the sparks. - 'I suggest you learn your place, Bèta,' I growl. I hate him, I don't know him, but I hate him. He will make me weak. 'Bèta? Darling, we both know I am so much more than that,' he mocks me. How dare he? I stand before him in a flash, my hand around his neck, holding him up. 'I also suggest you learn to respect an Alpha, Bèta,' my eyes see red, I want to murder him, but I can't, it will kill my wolf. 'You keep repeating Bèta, but I am your mate, your equal,' he growls. His eyes are flashing amber, his wolf is present. I bare my canines, making him stand down. 'You will never be my equal. You may be my mate, but I will always be an Alpha and you will always be a Bèta,' my nails are pressing in his skin, almost drawing blood. 'We shall see, Milou, we shall see.'
