Eiley Hopkins was a very simple girl. She liked to read, she loved the outdoors, and she was very social-especially outside of school. But on the last Tuesday of September 2018, as she was going for a run in the woods, some guy in all black shot at her with a hand gun, missing her head narrowly but causing her to lose her balance and fall in the creek behind her. Three hours later, she was terrified, cold, but okay in the arms of a cute stranger. Yet, the next morning, everything changed. Suddenly, nothing was as simple as before. Suddenly, random visions of crime scenes pulled her out of class, out of the shower, out of bed, out of talking to her friends. Suddenly, she realized nothing was quite as it seems.
