How many times have you had to use the phrase "I'm fine" to convince everyone around you that you're completely okay when, in fact, you're not? Have you ever had to say you're "just tired" to fool everyone else into thinking it's just the fatigue that's bothering you? This may not be much - this may be nothing at all. But it's the "nothing" that keeps you down after you've had to lie about how you're just not feeling right. It's the answer to the constant question - "What's wrong?" And when you answer - "It's nothing - I am fine, thanks." - remember that it's a universal response, because most people feel the need to prove to themselves and others that they are fine, even when they're not. Including me. .......................................................................................... This is just me picking up my poetry from where I left of. I hope you enjoy and can relate. 😊
