It wasn't supposed to be this way. When Ash told her his plan about burning their village to the ground and building it up, she had her doubts, but Ash had never been wrong before. Who was to say he'd be wrong now? So she helped him burn it down while everyone else was away at the Gathering, even though she knew they'd get in trouble as the two who were supposed to be watching over the village.
But they'd come back, and now they were all burned with the village. Ash, ironically, also burned. Leaving her all alone. She was walking, remembering the stories of people who used to visit from another village in the direction that the sun rose, just praying to nothing in particular that she'd be saved by someone or something, anything. Even seeing death as a way of escape.
Until she meets a strange boy who refuses to tell his name. He only shows up at night, which is odd, but even stranger is that he never speaks and she never asks him for anything, yet he knows what she needs... and how she can get it. But when she asks for the one thing she wants, his answer will send chills down your spine...Todos os Direitos Reservados
