Twenty-two-year-old Petra is just about ready to give up on life. She works in a dead-end job waiting on deadbeat cafe regulars. The only friend she has is her room-mate, who is about as close to Petra as Petra is to the Queen of England. All the dreams she once had have faded away, chased down by reality. Enter Tuesday. Tuesday is a mysterious stranger in a suit and hat, with mud on his pants and a hip flask in his bandaged hands. With his tired seashell eyes and sad, smiling mouth, he looks like Petra's bedroom mirror. Petra can't help but take him in and offer him a place to stay, inexplicably drawn to his strange ways. She doesn't realise that he's about to turn her life upside down. For better or worse, she finds herself dragged into his world. And she's not sure whether that world is going to make or break her.
