GENIE MITCHELL could confidently say that she lived the most ordinary life. When moving to California, she didn't expect much. In the beginning, staying in California was a part of her plan. She had every intention of living there for a few years, then moving back to Baltimore where she was born and raised, but when she met Michael Jackson-thee Michael Jackson-staying didn't seem so bad. She didn't have but two friends in California, and he was quickly added to the list.
However, becoming romantically involved with the up-and-coming pop star wasn't a part of her plan. But the two couldn't help themselves.
