Why are you being so distant!?" He screamed when I was almost at the door. I stood still for a few more seconds and he continued. "Did I do something wrong? If so, then tell me..." He dragged on. I turned around and slowly walked closer to him. "You didn't do something wrong, or atleast not intentionally." I said calmly, but anger began boiling in me when I thought about what happened. I watched as his expression turned from anger to confusion. "What?" He asked softly as I stood on my final position, a few metres away from him. "I can't really tell you Xavier, or else you'll get suspicious." I said looking him dead in the eyes. "Bianca c'mon. Please..." He spoke, barely a breath. He lowered his head as he spoke. "Just, consider yourself an enemy." I said which quickly got his attention. He took two long strides towards me and tried to take my hand. I retracted and stepped back...then I saw something flash in his eyes. An emotion I never thought I'd see... Hurt... "No, no, no...no. Tell me what I did, please. Was it something that I said or..." He rambled but eventually coming to a halt. "I'm sorry Xavier, but looks like you were my enemy from day one, but I didn't see the trouble right infront of me..." I said coldly as I watched him, so many emotions swimming in his eyes. Then he stood tall and tried to break a small smile. "Well, you know what they say Karma, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." *** When two enemies meet, but they don't know it, what will happen?
