Once a lone gunman, a Father to a Founding reunited with the Jedi. He sets off from Moff Gideon's light cruiser, exhausted from taking the Imperial stormtroopers out. He soars through space with Bo-Katan and Kosha Reeves, to find a way to retake Manalore. They land on Carlac, where they will meet the tribes of Mandalorians who se to be a big part of his future. But Gideon escapes from their clutches and swears vengeance on Din Djarin. He meets a young Mandalorian named Xan. He becomes an apprentice to Din, and more of a son than apprentice. Din teaches the young Mandalorian things that he knows so that the kid will be able to handle the galaxy. Din cares for Xan, and they fix up a Razor Crest II together. One day, a broadcast sent from Sorgan comes with worrying news. The small village where he stayed on Sorgan was attacked. Several witnesses have confirmed that the stormtroopers were led by Moff Gideon. The Mandalorian has to make a choice, go to Sorgan and find Omera and Winta, or stay and help Bo-Katan with retaking their homeworld. He rushes to Sorgan, with Xan tagging along, on a mission to find the woman who changed everything. Omera is all he can think about, is she safe? Is she alive? Where's Winta? Both Master and apprentice land on the planet Sorgan and they try to seek out Din's friends. When they finds them, will he be able to put aside his old Way of life and start a new one? Or will he turn the other way and stay hidden under his helmet? Can he teach Xan and continue Bounty Hunter's missions? Will he finally remove his helmet in front on non-Manalorians?
