I was running. As fast as I could. The snow on the icy ground was making my small feet go numb. My feet were slowing their pace as I looked at the many cars speeding across the slippery road. I was in rags. The torn clothes barely covering my frail body. There was a variety of buildings lining the sidewalks farther than I could see. Soon after, I continued running but not before I slipped on the snowy gray cement. I tried to scream but no noise came from my muted throat. It wasn't long before my vision went red and I faded from consciousness.
