In 1966, a then-unknown duo known as Simon and Garfunkel gain fame and recognition from their new hit album Sounds of Silence, which has topped the Billboard charts and sold over one million copies. Celebration is short due to demands from the company for a new album, but the duo find the time for a week-long road trip from New York to Miami. On the way, they both undergo both emotional and drastic personality changes, including new obstacles in the duo's relationship and Paul's love life.
