The Bahasians, a speculative long-extinct ethnic group who spoke the almost mythical 'Bahasa' language. Although their very existence is a highly debated topic among ethnolinguists, Professor Martin Delacroix believe that the elusive group not only lived and prospered up until a few hundred years ago, but they had a rich and complex culture. His research gets a breakthrough when a student tells him about the estate her family holds in the island of Póluózhōu, where the Bahasians might have lived. But he didn't know his little expedition would endanger his life...and the world as he knew it.
