Aidan Gallagher didn't wanna be alive, like at all until he meets his lover, who he didn't know at the time Lizzie West. He's struggling with a relationship with his sister after everything that's happened to them in the past, everything she did to him. He's been through a lot of things in the past, mentally and physically. His dad's out of his life, his mom's abusive and even his sister is now against him. Lizzie West, the "annoying" girl Aidan met at his locker one day. They instantly hit it off and eventually fall in love, she's also struggling with a relationship with her family. She's had to make decisions that she regrets, but to keep with the boy she loves, she had to make them. Her dad's abusive and she was adopted by her brother, who's also an alcoholic just like Nadia. In a way, she relates to Aidan...a bit too much. Nadia Gallagher, the girl who protected Aidan with her life. Even at his multiple death beds, she loved him. She never knew how to show it, especially when she was the one who hurt him whenever she was drinking. She's an alcoholic, a problem with drinking has consumed her life in her teenage years. All she wanted was it for it to all stop. What happens when everyone else stops coming around, so Nadia and Aidan both have to reconnect, causing burning bridges in the family? TW: mentions death, suicidal thoughts/actions, manic depression, traumatic situations, alcoholism/drug abuse, and sexual assault. *layout credited by @comharper*
