"Oh no that's alright. I'm just gonna get an Uber."

"Aurora please, it's the middle of the night. Let me drive you home." He steps forward, closing the gap between us, I look up to his gaze.

"Thanks, but I'll be fine. Enjoy the rest of your night."

His hand reaches out connecting with my arm again.

"I would just prefer it, knowing your safe if I dropped you home." His hand trails down the length of my arm and he starts toying with my fingers. My breath hitches in my throat. I'm sure an innocent drive home will be fine right?
