A peacemaker preserves peace in both the living world and the afterlife. Michael Jackson contentedly committed himself to this job for over three hundred years. When a curse is cast to eliminate the barrier between the Earth and the afterlife under a Halloween's blood moon, however, peace becomes critically threatened for both worlds--and for the first time, Michael is lost at how to mend such a problem. Raven Amhurst is a schoolteacher who dedicates herself to raising her little sister, Rumi, and making her the happiest that she can be. When Rumi introduces her older sister to Michael one October, he helps pull them out of a tormenting situation. But much to Michael's consolation, a witch herself, Raven soon proves that she can also be of help to him in revoking the very curse that has been tormenting him for years.
