"Hey!" Ryan suddenly blurted out. He had just noticed the GPS. "You're going the wrong way!" "Relax," said Natalie calmly. "We're just taking a little detour". "What! Detour! Where?" barked Ryan. "Are you crazy?! We are already so late! Its all dark outside, and you wanna take a detour?" Getting antsy, he started shifting in his seat, as if trying to get Natalie to stop the car. "Okay, stop. Just pull over and give me the car," he said, gesturing with his hand. "Would you shut up for minute and calm down?" Natalie frowned. "Are you really dying to get to that stupid camp? I mean, they are probably just roasting marshmallows by now. What fun!" she said, rolling her eyes. This made Ryan stop in his tracks and get lost in thoughts. He wasn't dying to get to the camp. In fact, he didn't even feel like going there. So, he finally let out a breath and sat back, relaxing in his seat. Noticing this, Natalie said, "Good." A smile of satisfaction on her lips. "And don't worry, I know where I'm going." Natalie Watts was popular in school for the wrong reasons. Exasperated by her complicated life, she constantly got into trouble trying to break free from it. Then a sudden detour on their way to the camp leads to an unexpected incident, and an unlikely friendship with Ryan Wilkins - the apparent school prodigy - that pose to make things more complicated, which is the last thing she wants.
