Charlotte had known since her sophomore year of high school that she didn't want to attend college for long or at all, and would rather get a license, certification or become a free-lancer. She had considered careers like a cosmetology, and even welding. When summer rolled around, although she had applied and gotten into many colleges, and had no experience in the job industry, she decided to market herself and apply to random jobs she found, being brutally honest with employers when she did so sending her so-so resume, along with a message, "I have no experience in this particular field, but I'm willing to take the skills that I have and apply them the best as I can. I am also ready to learn and be trained, to provide the best service I can." Her honesty is what landed her a $56.68 assisting job with Roc Nation in Los Angeles. After accepting the job and following up with the hiring manger, living arrangements were made, as well as the set up of a week long training program.
