The darkest time in Emil's life had just passed, the summer holidays. He spent six weeks in his room, in therapy and in a virtual world, hoping that his father might knock on his door again one morning at least until something new gave him hope, Kaspar, the Spanish exchange student with a little too much patience for the boy he'd now spend a whole year with. When Emil found out that his mother had accepted an exchange student, he knew he had to change something, but this was particularly difficult after the summer holidays. However, as he got used to Kaspar, what had seemed so long - suddenly became very short. Over those months, Emil found something in Kaspar that he thought he had lost many years before he met him. !Cautionary reminder: This piece of fiction includes a lot of sensitive topics that could be upsetting or disturbing to some readers.
