Catherine, Ana, and Kris. Three sisters sailing out together with their shoddy crew. Going on adventures, making friends, and pulling heists. A fun story of intrigue, slow-burn, and betrayal. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Kris, you were supposed to distract the merchant, but all you managed to do was frighten him. How was that flirting?" demanded Catherine. Kris spit a piece of hair out of her mouth. "He was super ugly," whined Kris, looking away. "I panicked." "You offered to murder his wife so you could run away together. I asked you to hold his attention, not threaten him." Catherine shook her head in disbelief. "Pretty sure he was lying about having a wife," Kris grumbled under her breath so that only Ana could hear. "Pretty sure advertising murder shouldn't be your first choice," replied Ana, stifling a laugh. Catherine shook her head, "And you! What happened to being the look out?" She turned on Ana. Ana raised a finger, "I was on the lookout for guards, not other thieves looking to steal the opportunity we fabricated," Ana said defensively. "Luckily," she wrapped an arm over Mary-Anne's shoulders, "Little Miss here managed to trick 'em into thinking she was calling the guards over," Ana faltered, "but that only alerted the merchant to..." "Me! The one who was actually stealing from him!" cried Catherine. "He chased me right into a patrol of Navymen after we'd split. Took me forever to shake them." "Sorry," the three said in unison.
