Rayne has always experienced pain when it comes to her own mother, however, she never expected to find her mother dead in her own room either. Leaving Rayne completely and utterly alone with no one by her side, the State finds the only person who has any connection to Rayne. Justin Woods, her ex-stepfather from seven years ago, has agreed to take Rayne into his home in the Alaskan Mountains with her two ex-stepbrothers, Mason and Erik. Just shy of eighteen, Rayne has to find her way through her intense emotions with her new home and those welcoming her. Justin was shocked when he found out about Quinn. How could she do something like that to her own daughter? Not knowing what else to do and remembering Rayne and how sweet she was, Justin couldn't help opening up his own home to her. It was what he wanted to do when he and Quinn first broke up, but she still wanted to use her daughter for her own needs and wants. Having this chance now, Justin swears to show Rayne how the real world works and give her enough support for what she needs to succeed, but he didn't account for his own feelings or his son's getting in the way. Will Justin and his sons be able to handle Rayne or when the times comes, will he send her away in the end?
