Strange…. Legolas thought. As he moved closer to the figure he saw that it wasn’t two figures, it was two horses, one bearing a rider. The rider had two huge knives, longer than his sword, at their belt, along with an arrangement of knives at a collar on their wrist. The rider was obviously a female, from the length of hair, but her face was shadowed by a cloak, covering her whole body. She rode bareback, with no bridle on either horse. She had a strange accent, not one that he could recognise. But what outshone all the other strangeness about her was her eyes. A brilliant sapphire blue, they shone out from under her cloaks hood, and seemed to pierce Legolas’s very soul.
