"It doesn't matter whether you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning." - Dominic Toretto Brie O'Conner had a rough childhood. The streets were her medicine for a lonely existence with an addict mother and absentee father. So it was no surprise when she fell into a bad crowd that ended up with her going to juvie pregnant and alone, not once but twice. Wanting a better life for her kids, she grew up but didn't give up on the streets. Turning to street racing once she hit eighteen, she took her kids and left for Miami, joining the racing scene and making a name for herself. However, she stayed anonymous, not wanting her family to be dragged into it. She became Nightbird for a couple of years, before quitting the scene. Joining the LAPD, she tried to go legit and provide a stable environment to raise her kids. Having only been an officer for two years, she is suddenly asked to help the FBI and LAPD handle a new problem: hijackings of semis carrying valuable goods. And it's being done by someone in the streets. Well time to dust off gloves, because LA had no idea what was coming.
