(Heads up, this is my very first long novel. Expect lazy writing and redundant words) In this story set in the streets of Chicago - everybody can lie. Years after his sister's friend's death, the black cat killed by curiosity, Edward Winslow, receives a strange and silent call at night. In a tangle of more and more mysteries biting away at him, he dials back and expects silence then and after. Only to be very wrong. Now many questions are unanswered, and Edward is forced to learn about the Cameron's sudden disappearance. Claiming to be the deceased Cameron Reynolds, Edward's inbox is flooded with shady messages. All of a sudden the arsonist criminal mysteriously comes crawling back to Ed for help. In trying to cut through truth and reality amid a haze of letters sent to Cammie, ominous puzzles, and memory loss, Ed is shocked to discover some cases are better left buried. With a past almost blow-torched to the ground by Cameron herself, he reluctantly seeks for suspects while the knife is still put to his neck. Meanwhile Edward's sophisticated boss and soon-to-be husband has some secrets of his own. *** (+Updates on the second Sunday) - CURRENTLY ON INDEFINITE HIATUS If you want, please go check out my sister's profile: @LyraDuSoiree - And see her amazing stories!
