Eggman won. Well, he stopped using the name Eggman, once Sonic was gone. He discarded that name like he discarded his nemesis. Doctor Robotnik, now, looked down on HIS world from the Death Egg, his untouchable battle fortress high in orbit. He'd learned from his mistakes. After Infinite beat Sonic and he was captured, Robotnik didn't bother gloating, or monologuing, or keeping him captive to let him watch his world burn. He dealt with the hedgehog before he had a chance to make one of his daring escapes. GUN held out as long as they could, but with Sonic out of the way, Robotnik considered the Resistance done, and focused his attention on the Guardian Unit of Nations. They had the numbers, but Robotnik had the tech. And for a while he had Infinite too. Even he was turned on by the Doctor in time. There's only room for one at the top, and the Doctor takes up oh so much room. But hope was rekindled, when Resistance scavengers found their way into a former GUN black site. It was listed in their records as a biological sample storage site, so the Doctor had no interest, and thus it sat untouched, until the Resistance found it, found HER, the magnum opus of the Doctor's deranged grandfather, a biological experiment to engineer the ability to utilize the chaos emeralds. Scorch, the Hedgehog was released from her decades long dreamless sleep in cryo-storage, and taken back to the resistance headquarters, in hopes she may be able to fill a hedgehog-shaped void left in the roster. All Rights Reserved
