This is a slow progression story. I understand that most books of similar plots rush through the opening of the story line, it is not my goal or intention to do that. If you wish to skip directly to the meeting it will be in chapter 8 but you will be missing out on a lot of character progression and important information pertaining to the development of plot. Gracelynn Banks was a small town basketball star. She could make three pointers like it was no trouble, her fast feet made her nearly impossible to guard. Well, that was until the accident. Her family lived out in the country, the only road with access to her house was known for rock slides. Both her parents ended up dying in the accident, it was a miracle that Gracelynn managed to survive, let alone her four year old sister, Payton. Forced into foster care until her mothers will is located, the girls have no idea what their future holds. When a copy of an older will is found Gracelynn is shipped off to live with a family that she has never even met. Payton gets left behind until her custody is determined. When the unknown from her past begins coming back to haunt her, will Gracelynn find out who she actually is, and will she begin to get closure, or will her past haunt her for the rest of her life? Will Payton ever get to join her sister, or will she be stuck in foster care?
