Fawn knows that something is amiss about the man who haunts her steps and lurks in the corner of the Grill when she's working. She also knows something is plaguing the minds of her new-found friends, all the while something is screaming at the back of her mind that she is the victim of a different nightmare entirely. As realities unfold and hard truths shred the seams and stab at the minds of many in Mystic Falls, Fawn realises her life has always been someone else's to live off - to make matters more volatile - this someone now has Fawn back in his sights and is less than eager to give her up for another, lesser man. Undeterred by these afflictions, Fawn is willing to risk everything if it means not losing another person she cares for - even if it means giving up the one thing she's always yearned and ached for, pure romantic love.
