(My other story, Sidekick Status: Pending, apparently decided to delete itself entirely for the second time in its long life. I'm not surprised, but it may be a minute before I have the conviction to continue writing it. Until then, please accept a fluffy romance I wrote as well.) This comfy and queer romance story is probably best read as it was written, curled up with a cup of tea, a nice candle, and the sound of passing rain. A gloomy shopkeep with an insatiable love for music stumbles into an unlikely friendship with his new neighbor, a self-proclaimed crossdresser and avid gardener. When the relationship gets closer than expected, a revelation leaves both men questioning what they want. Come take a sit in the garden, smell the roses, and if you're lucky, you might chance to hear violin.
