Rylie Brooks is a transfer from UCLA majoring in sports broadcasting chasing her career of being a sports reporter.
She happens to become dorm neighbors with one Uconn's women's basketball players Nika Mühl, resulting in becoming close with the women's basketball team, and filming a documentary on the team for a class project.

She finds herself falling deep, not only into the documentary, but into the star player Paige Bueckers.
