When She Cries

Shantelle's parents sent her to a boarding school in Manila for reasons she didn't fully understand. Years later, after earning her license and starting work, she decided to take a vacation to her hometown.

Upon arrival, she found an empty house. Her mother was nowhere to be found, and her father had moved to a new home with his new family. Realizing they had sent her away to shield her from their separation, Shantelle's heart broke.

While quietly observing her father's new life, she encountered an elderly woman with a remarkable sense of humor. Shantelle decided to care for this woman, making her the only family she had left. However, tragedy struck when something unexpected happened to her 'Lola,' leaving Shantelle to cry every night.
