"Why did you do it Niall?" I asked, my temper rising as I stared at the drunk boy before me. It was crazy to think I used to be in love with this guy but yet I couldn't deny that my heart was beating for him just like it always did before. I had to keep telling myself that my love for him had passed and that I shouldn't even look at him right now. "D-Do what?" He stammered, reaching for my hand to balance himself. In response, I pulled my hands away from him. He gave me sad, puppy eyes as my heart continued to flutter. "Turn into this mess!" I exclaimed, exasperated as I pulled a pocket of my hair and tucked it away. I looked him over from his untied shoes to his puffy red eyes as I took a deep breath to try and calm myself. "You stayed away from me, what else was I supposed to do?" He managed to slur, still rocking from foot to foot. "Niall-" He crashed his lips onto mine and I didn't pull away even though it was exactly what I was not supposed to do. But Niall had this effect on me and it could never wear off, no matter how hard I tried to stop it.
