Delilah Smyth was a very broken girl. Both, physically and mentally. She had bruises from years ago that still hadn't faded and her low self esteem wasn't helping at all. She was bullied by everyone. Nerds and goths, populars and social outcasts, the rich and the poor. Delilah was a punchbag to some, a homework source for others and for some she was a nuisance. She had no friends, no one to talk to. But her life at home was very different.

Her mother, Janet Smyth, was a gentle woman who loved her daughter. Delilah's father, Henry Smyth, also loved his daughter dearly. Her parents never suspected a thing about her getting bullied. All they knew was their daughter was a little anti-social.

In Delilah's senior year of high school, a new girl arrives. Delilah couldn't care less, it was one more person using her as a punchbag. But the new girl is some juvie delinquent and she has her heart set on winning Delilah...
