I went to kay jewelers and got Serenity a promise ring because she needs to know and understand im serious and genuine with her
i was at my moms house making sure that i looked good and her ring was good enough
"ma what if she dont like it" i said "listen she never been the type to act materialistic you know what she came from and what she is now and you see she hasnt changed so dont think about that" my mom said
"ok" i said letting out a deep breathe i didnt know i was holding in i looked at myself in the mirror and played in my hair
i facetimed serenity and she answered on the first ring
"heyyy wya" she said sitting at her vanity finishing her make up im guessing
"nun just putting on my lashes im ready when you get here" she said picking up the phone revealing her face "you dont have on makeup" i said because i liked her natural face
"no i think im gonna stop wearing it and just do lashes maybe do eyeshadow sometimes like now" she said smiling "ok im omw" i said as she nodded and hung up
"ma im leaving" i said at the door as i put on my jordan 1s and left locking the door before she could respond
i rode in silence as i stared at the ring at every red light making sure i choose the right one 'i hope she like it frl' i said to myself
a few minutes later i pulled up to her apartment as i walked to the elevator and called her to let her know i was coming upstairs
once i got to the door i knocked twice and she came to the door putting on her earrings as she walked back to her room i only caught a quick glimpse of her and she looked nice
i went to her room and sat on the bed "im ready now" she said as i heard her heels going against the bathroom floor
i looked up and seen her standing there in a fitted white dress with lace at the top part she had on white heels tied up her legs
she grabbed her white lv purse and a jean jacket "cmonn" she whined ready to go "ok"
I said standing up grabbing her hand and leaving out
i opened her door once she got in i went to the other side and got in hearing the beat to gang over luv by brent faiyaz playing lowly
the restaurant was only 15 minutes away so nothing really far and if she wanted we could go to an arcade or something
we were down the street when i told her to close her eyes "how im gone walk" she said " i gotchu" i said as we pulled up i got her out the car "follow my voice" i said as she slowly walked while i held her hand
i gave the man at valet my keys and walked in "ok open" i said as she fluttered her eyes and hugged me "ok jones follow me" the waiter said leading us through rose petals to a table
i quickly pulled out serenity's chair and let her sit pushing her up a little i went to sit down "this is so nice omg" she said as she looked around "thank you so much dijour" she said "its nothing if its for you" i said
she opened up her menu blushing as the waitress came back "ok what drinks for you two" she said "water"me and serenity said at the same time
the waitress nodded "yall ready to order now" she asked "yea" serenity replied and i nodded "ok i will get the shrimp alfredo with asparagus" serenity said "me too" i added
