Chapter 21

" Mal " Belle exclaimed and pulled her future daughter in law into a hug

" Allow her to breathe " Beast shrugged his wife

" Right. My apologies "

" We were so worried " Beast added

" Now that everything is hopefully back to normal, we can start wedding planning " Ben smiled at Mal

" I am so ready for this " Belle said

She exited the room and returned ten minutes later with several folders filled with everything to do with weddings.

" When did you have the time for this? " Ben laughed

" I've been looking at weddings ever since you were little. I promise you will both have the best wedding "

The pair sat down with Belle and began looking through the folders.

Soon Mal returned to her room at Castle Beast while Ben went to office to work on a large amount of paper work which he had missed out on while he was "dead". Mal examined the folder on her bed. Mal groaned. The sight of love disgusted her. Since the fight with Maleficent something changed in her. She felt like a new person. A new evil. She was like how she was before Auradon but worse. Mal would soon have a kingdom and if she was able to remove Ben and his family from the picture than she would get justice for the isle and everyone Ben and his family had done wrong to. She could put on the act. They wouldn't suspect a thing....

Mal was sat in her room when her fiance came by.

" Hey" Ben said

" Hi " She replied

' 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨' she thought to herself

" How are you and baby doing? " He asked

" Good " She replied briefly

' 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 ' she thought

"That's good " He replied awkwardly

" Yeah " Mal replied hoping he would leave now

" Do you wanna go somewhere? I think we need time together to sort this out "

" Sort what out? "

" This? You and me. I want to be back where we where before this all happened "

" We'll be fine " She forced a fake smile

" Are you alright? You seem off "

" I'm just peachy "

" Are you still mad at me? I don't blame you if you are, but I want you to know I love you more than anything and I would have never asked you to leave if I knew this may have happened. Please forgive me " Ben said

" Can you leave? I need space " She said coldly making no eye contact

Ben saw it coming.

" Right. Of course. If you need anything I'll be in our ro-, I'll be in my room " Ben sighed " I'm sorry. Goodnight Mal "

Ben left her be.
