Chapter 1: Who's That?

I'm on a boat because I'm going to take the hunter exam. not because I want to be a hunter, its cause I want to have a license so that I can go anywhere and kill Anything I want with no Charges against me. hopefully I meet someone there (oh yeah HOPEFULLY)

After some time the boat gets sucked into a storm. I sit in the cabin and I see a blonde boy sitting next to a box with a purple tunic. he has some cute green eyes so I walk up to him. (eww) 

"hi" he looks up at me and smiles. "oh umm hi there, what's your name" "I'm Shalnark but you can call me Shal what about you?" he says to me "I'm y/n" "cool" he says as I walk away awkwardly. 

"hold on! come back" "Eh?" "wanna work together to pass the exam?" "umm" I blush slightly "UHHHHHH" I say turning red under my mask. "I'm taking that as a yes" he says as he pulls me onto the ground next to him. "so tell me about yourself y/n." "umm well I'm 19 and I have a cat" "a cat? what's its name" "her name is Luna" "aw I think animals are cute" "Tell me about you Shal" "sure I'm 25 and I'm a manipulator." "Oh I'm a Specialist" I say while looking into his really nice green eyes. "ah I've only met 1 Specialist before." he laughs. "oh yeah i guess its pretty rare to actually be a specialist"  i say while putting my arm on my forehead. (not bad- i still hate it)

the captain brings me Shal and this other kid that looks like he's 3 into the steering room. "tell me your names" he says in an irritated tone "I'm Y/N" I say "I'm Shalnark" Shal says while looking at the Captain "why should I tell you?" says the kid that looks 3. "just tell me kid, Okay?" the captain says in an annoyed voice. "UGH fine I'm Daiki" says the boy. he has muted blue hair and is about 5'2. "how old are you Daiki?" I ask while bending down to see his face. "idiot can't you tell I'm 12?" "don't be rude to me because I could murder you but I wont.. Right now~" The captain starts speaking. "Why do you want to participate in the hunter Exam?" "for information that can only be earned by having a licenses" Shalnark says. "so I can murder and no charges will be pressed upon me!"... "I-I'm kidding" I laugh. if only they knew I wasn't kidding. "I want to travel the world~" I say over exaggerating each word. "my dad left me so I want to leave my abusive mom" "dang kid that's pretty sad" I say while standing up and putting my hands behind my head. (dang- i feel bad for Daiki)

Me Shalnark and Daiki make it to the venue. I'm number 328 Shalnark is number 329 and Daiki is 330. Shalnark grabs my hand and walks up to the front dragging me with him as Daiki follows us. we see lots of interesting people but one in particular walks up to us. "hi, my name is Tonpa" Shalnark yanks my arm and makes me fall on the floor to get me as far away from him as he could. "ow Shal that Fucking hurt" I say as I get up. "what your name?" Tonpa asks while glancing at me wearily. "I'm Shalnark "Shal says. "Daiki" "oh umm I'm Y/N" I say while standing up. "do you want some soda?" Tonpa asks "it'll only dehydrate me more so no. plus I hate soda" I say while laughing in his face. i can tell Tonpa was mad. "Also don't look at me like that Fucking Loser" i say while as I kick him into the ground. "Dang Y/N" Shal says obviously scared of me. "I still have yet to use nen" I say while laughing. (I- i have no words-)

"FINALLY" I yell as me Shal and Daiki make it onto the last stage of the exam." THERE WILL ONLY BE 8 WINNERS" "So only 1 person will be eliminated?" Shal asks "yes only 1 will be eliminated" the chairman says. "so how do we find out who wins?" I ask. "everyone will be fighting against someone. They win by making their opponent surrender. no killing. if you kill you will be eliminated." "FUCK" I yell because I really wanted to kill someone. 

Round 1. You Vs Shalnark 

"lets settle this" I say while I summon a sword that would be too heavy for anyone else. "or would you rather have me use my hands?" "I would rather hands Y/N" my sword disappears as he says that. "Alright lets fight" I say.

I run towards Shalnark and I twist his arm backwards as i get so close to his neck and i whisper into his ear. "argh" I hear him say as I grab his neck slightly. "I-I SURRENDER!" He yells and I let him go. I know he cant see my face because of my mask but being that close to him made me blush because I think he's actually attractive. "better luck next match," I say as I walk to a spot where I can be alone. 

Next up is Shal and number 403 a boy with brown hair and a kind of school outfit on? I'm not sure but he looks weak. Shal won that match. Daiki went up against number 51 a white and red haired boy that looks about 13. Number 51 won that time and he sat next to me. "Hello number 328," he says as he sits next to me. Daiki wins the next match and he walks up to all of us. "who is he," Daiki asks "to be honest I don't know," I say as number 51 looks at me with hurt in his eyes. "ugh just be quiet please," I say as I rest my head on the grass beneath us. I close my eyes and end up going to sleep. (I HATE THIS WITH A PASSION)
