Chapter 6. Surprise Baby Shower

That Night, after dinner, I let Jeff sleep over. He slept on the couch. 

"Morning.." Jeff calls out sleepily as he probably can hear me walking through the hallways. The floors squeak really badly dammit. 

"Jeff, I'm just going to take a shower okay?" I call back to him.

A faint reply of "Okay, sure" is heard from where Jeff is sleeping, and after gathering some clothes and a towel, I head to the bathroom, locking the door behined me. Jeff has a horrible habbit of not knocking on doors before entering. He broke Slenderman's door down once...or twice? Maybe 4 times? You get my point.

I make sure the shower is luke-warm, then hop in (Don't worry, I took my clothes off first). 

I just kind of stand there, thinking...about the past...When I first met Jeff. God, that was such a long time ago. Such a different time. You've read the story orgin of Jeff the Killer, correct? Good. Then you know how he came to be so infamous. But I remember before that....when we were living a more "Normal" lifestyle. Just in one day, the world turned it's tables for me, and I ended up here.... But I guess I'm happy now. I bet you know the story of how Jeff attempted to kill me. I remember that clearly too. But I escaped. We met up after my visit to the hospital, and super-boring-weird long story short, we began to like each other, and now we are in love. Funny how things work out. But those dark memories....They will always stick in the back of my head...the blood. The blood is the main memory. And the pain.

I hate showers. They seem to make my brain think more than it really should.

I turn off the water, grab a towel, then get dressed, trying to distract my self with other thoughts like...

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

Wow, he knocked for the first time.

"Yes Jeff?" I say in an annoyed tone.

"I kinda need the bathroom Jane, so could you hurry if that's okay?"

Geez, how long did I spend in the shower? 

I put on my clothes, Jeans and a black top. I look in the mirror. Thank god the baby bump isn't showing yet. I know that soon, I'll have to tell everyone in Slendy's mansion that I'm pregnant. I see them on a daily bases, so in a few months when the baby starts to grow more, they'll figure it out very quickly.

I walk out of the bathroom, nearly bumping into Jeff as he runs into it. I head to the kitchen to make some breakfast, since I am STARVING! It might just be the natural cravings that come with having a kid inside you but I'm always hungry, so it may be both. As I grab a bowl from the kitchen cupboard, I notice the time. 2:38pm. Wow, either I woke up VERY late, or I had an EXTREMELY long shower. Again, probably both.

DING DONG!

"Jane?! Could you get the door please!" Jeff yells from the bathroom. I sigh, putting down the bowl in my hand. Why now? Can't I atleast eat first before Ms. P arrives to check on me?

I open the door. "Hi Ms. P-" 

I look down at the elfish figure at my door. Why do I mistaken everyone for Ms. P?

"Oh, umm...Hello BEN." I greet him. "You must be looking for Jeff." Jeff and BEN are best friends. 

"Actually no!" BEN's voice is more hyper than usual. Not the I've-been-smoking-crack kind of hyper, more like, excited hyper. For once, BEN. *rolls eyes*

"I'm here to congratulate you! Jeff told me about the baby! I'm actaully really happy for you two!" BEN smiles brightly at me. I stand there, shocked.

"Oh, he...told you?" I try not to sound panicked. God knows who else that idiot told about the baby.

"Yah! I've told the others to come over for the baby shower too! They are all so happy for you guys! And now I can make fun of Jeff losing his virginty...." He smirks to himself. 

"BABY SHOWER? WHAT? NOW?" Does everyone know?! I mean, I only found out yesterday! I've been pregnant for less than a week! The baby might not even live until 6 weeks! (that's common in real life)

Just then, I see EJ, and I think Masky and Hoodie walking up the road to my house. Great. Now I gotta entertain them.... Jeff, you are such an asshole at times!

"You okay?" Jeff asks, suddenly appearing behined me. I offer BEN a seat on the couch, and I grab Jeff's arm and pull him to the kitchen, where BEN can't hear us. 

"Jeff, you idiot! I only found out the news yesterday! And now everyone knows? You know that the baby might not even make it right?"

Jeff brushes me cheek, which pisses me off since I am NOT in the mood. 

"They where going to find out sooner or later. It's nice that they even care about us, right?"

"But why now?" I whisper harshly. My stomache growls. 

"Like I said, sooner or later." He then goes to the door to let the others in. I sigh, and arrange some cookies on a plate for them. I try to smile when I enter the living room. I'm still trying to figure out how to I'm going to raise this kid, and know everyone knows about it. Stressful on my part.

"Hey Jane!" Masky hugs me. Out of all of Slendy's proxies, Masky is my favourite. Unlike the other monkeys in that mansion (that includes Jeff) He is respectful, conciderate, and smart. 

Hoodie takes a seat beside BEN, after handing me a present. "Thank you..." I say. I'll open it later. 

A few more people/creatues arrive- Toby, Nina, Natalie (Clockwork) Slenderman himself, and even Grinny Cat appears at my window. Now even the cat knows. Ms. P arrives too. I get showered with gifts- Literally, and everyone is asking questions about the baby I've only known about for a few days.

"So what gender is it?" Clockwork asks.'

"It's kinda too early to tell." I tell her. 

"Hmm...Pity. I hope it's a girl, since if Jeff is raising a boy, the kid will turn out like BEN over here no doubt." 

BEN turns around to his name, then pouts at Clocky. 

After 3 hours, everyone finally left. I hadn't had time to eat anything, and my stomach is eating itself right now, I swear.

Jeff hands me a bowl of soup, and I wolf it down in seconds.

"You know, I wasn't at first, but I'm really excited for this baby." Jeff smiles as he puts his arms around me. 

"I guess I am too." I say. I am looking forward to it. I'm just not looking forward to 9 months of annoying food cravings, morning sickness, vomiting, and tiredness.
