November 20, 2014 Charleston SC ~ Dani's 20th birthday

Today was the day... The day I take another life.. 10 lives in fact.
We waited for a while. Dave had done his business and now it was finally time. I stood in the bathroom looking at myself. I was getting older, smarter, and wiser as the days went by. I got on the counter getting closer to the mirror applying the mascara making sure I applied it thick to my medium eyelashes.
Finishing up with my make up I stood back and looked at myself. I looked nice. I walked out the bathroom getting jumped on by Tasha and Leah
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANI" they both hugged me
" aww thanks, guys" I smiled and looked around the room seeing Dave gone. " You look pretty girly" Leah played with the ends of my braided hair that was long and stopped at my hip.
" thank you." I had on a new birthday dress that I got at the mall with Tasha and Leah " so let's go downstairs cause I'm starving" Tasha took my hand and Leah followed behind.
We walked downstairs and headed to the kitchen
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY" I heard a pop and Confetti fell on me. I looked up seeing Dave and Eli standing there. " Aww thanks, guys" Eli came and hugged me " The big 20 !" Eli shouted
" yup" I didn't really know how to feel. Ya it's my birthday and all but it feels like an ordinary day.
" look we made you breakfast" Dave showed me the counter full of food " Damn this looks good" we all walked into the kitchen.
Everybody started getting their food but Dave had pulled me to the side in the living room
" Happy birthday beautiful" he hugged me tight as I hugged him back. " thank you dave" I lifted my head as it rested on his chest " you alright" I nodded. " I know we fucked up but no one has to know.. it was a one time thing" he was rubbing my back as tears started to form
" Aye, you better stop that shit right now. Ain't no need for crying" He held my face " do we have to kill them today" I sighed " yes Dani. Shit, they fucked up and now it's time to pay the price." I sighed as we walked back into the kitchen.
