Mr. Hutchinson's POV
It was a beautiful and wet stormy day. And today was Jake's first day of preschool.
"Are you excited Jakey boy for your first day of preschool?" I asked him.
"A little bit, but I don't know any kids there." Jakey said to me.
"Don't worry you'll find somebody, you might even find a girl." I teased him.
"Daddy you're making me blush." Jakey said to me.
"Of course I am." I said to him as I tickled his tummy as he laughed.
"Jakey, are you ready?" My wife ask him.
"Yes Mommy." Jakey said to him as my wife took his hand and they both left the house.
Jake's POV
Once we arrived at the building, it was huge.
"Mommy I don't want to go, I want to stay with you and Daddy." I whined to her.
"Your father and I have to go to work Jakey. You'll be okay." Mommy said to me as we entered my classroom.
"Hi I'm Samantha your teacher you must be Jakey!" Sam said to me as I was hiding behind Mommy's leg.
"It's okay sweetie." Mommy said to me.
"Mommy, don't go." I said to her.
"I'll be back to pick you up." Mommy said to me as she then left.
After Mommy left, I just sat in the corner crying.
"Boys and girls, I want for all of you to meet two new students, Izzy and Jake." Teacher Sam said to them as I just waved while a girl with tiny pigtails, stayed on the other side of the room.
"You want your daddy too?" I asked her.
"I only have a mommy." The girl said to me.
"Oh I'm sorry." I said to her as a boy went up to the girl and kicked her.
"Hey, don't you hit that girl!" I said to him.
"What's the matter little girl you going to cry for your Mommy?" The boy asked her as he was now being a bully while the girl just ran out of the room.
"Teacher Sam, may I please be excused?" I asked her.
"Sure thing Jakey." Sam said to me as I went to go find little Izzy.
Izzy's POV
As I was running around the preschool, I saw a boy with spiky hair came walking towards me.
"Are you okay?" The boy asked me as I started to show him my boo boo.
"It's okay, I'm Jake! what's your name?" Jakey asked me.
" my name is Isabella, but you can call me Izzy." Izzy said to me.
"Sure thing, Izzy. Actually, that's a beautiful name." Jake said to me as I hugged him.
"Oh uh, you're welcome Izzy." Jake said to me as we both blushed.
"Jakey, is this your new girlfriend you met today?" Mommy asked me as I blushed while Izzy looked away shyly.
"No, we're just friends." I told to her.
"But someday I'll make you my girlfriend!" I whispered in her ear, while she blushed as we then hugged each other.
"Anyway, you forgot your lunch box." Mommy said as I took my lunch box from the handle.
"Thanks! You can go now." I exclaimed as she pinched my cheek then left.
"Your Mommy's nice." Izzy said as I smiled.
"Thanks!" I thanked her.
"Hey, little girl we have some unfinished business." The same boy told her as I blocked Izzy.
"Stay away from my new friend!" I told him as Teacher Sam was looking at him.
"Frank you leave her alone. Wait until your mother hears about this you're going in time out young man!" Teacher Sam told him.
"But can I get a cookie?" We heard frank asked.
"After you were trying to bully the new student not happening mister." Teacher Sam told him as I turned around and saw Izzy hugging my legs.
"Hey, you're safe. You're safe with me. I'm not going to let any boy hurt you." I told her while ruffling her hair.
"Hehe, thanks, Jake." Izzy thanked me.
"Come on let's go back to class." I told her as we held hands.
Once we arrived back to class, everyone was playing with cool stuffs. But Izzy we to the painting area as I followed.
"Wow, your a great artist." I complimented her and she was painting a flower.
"Jake that's a rose hehe." Izzy giggled.
"Oops. Well technically a rose is a flower right?" I asked.
"Yes!" Izzy said as she ripped the paper off and gave it to me.
" whoa hold on a second, you giving me this? Why?" I wanted to know.
"Just to say thank you for saving me from that bully." Izzy said as she then took out a cookie and split it into two.
"Wow, this is really nice of you Izzy." I told her.
"They're chocolate chip cookies." Izzy said.
"Aw, these are so good." I complimented again but this time on the cookies.
"Let's just hope there won't be any bullies around in the future to bully you." I told her.
"And if there is?" Izzy exclaimed.
"Then I will be there for you. To protect you, to comfort, you to hold you, and to make you smile again." I explained.
"Wow, your the coolest friend ever Jake." Izzy said as she hugged me tight.
"Can't.....breath." I said through breaths as she let go.
"Sorry." Izzy apologized.
"It's okay, I just never noticed how strong you were." I said while catching my breath.
