"I need Aspirin." Ellie said walking into the kitchen shielding her eyes.

A put some infront of her and grab her a glass of water, because I am that nice, I then proceed to ask her, "do you remmeber anything?"

"Do you need to be so loud? But, no, I didn't do anything stupid did I?"

I should've reminded her, I should've told her then and there what she had done with James, what she had done to Reece, but I didn't.

"No."

She looked relieved. As long as I am the only person who nows and as Jake said James was ruined hopefully he won't remember either and it can just be forgotten. However, I would like to know why she did it if she does like Reece so much...

I hear my phone ding.

Meet me at Costa in half an hour - Jake

I watch Ellie drag herself back to her room almost as if she is imitating a slug before heading off to get ready myself. I dress casually, ripped skinny jeans and a white T-shirt, but making my face and hair look more presentable and less like I got dragged through a bush especially as I am seeing Jake Sims. Before running out of the door shouting "bye" to Ellie as I am late, per usual.

Finally, I arrived at Costa, only fifteen minutes late, personal record, Jake was already sat at a table in the corner with a drink infront of him, playing on his phone. I get myself a drink and a chocolate brownie because running to Costa made me hungry. Jake greeted me with a hug which was slightly awkward.

"It all kicked off this morning." Jake said to me.

"Why?" I inquired.

"James told Reece about what happened last night"

My heart dropped.

"Ellie doesn't even remember."

"James felt really bad about it and Barclay said that he had to tell him, bros before hoes I guess."

"Ellie isn't exactly a hoe." I say worried, "but, I need to go tell Ellie before Reece does."

Jake accompanied me and walked back to my house. Once we arrived, I heard noises. Ellie was crying in the kitchen.

"WHY WOULDN'T YOU TELL ME?" She screamed.

"I... I.." I stood stuttering, "I am sorry."

"Reece is never going to want to talk to me again." She wailed, I hugged her hoping she wouldn't be mad at me for too long.

"Wait, where you two on a date?" She asked, looking at us both with big red puffy eyes. I just nod meekly, unsure as to whether or not it was an actual date or not.

"Oh no, Reece punched James, I need to get back to the apartment," Jake said looking up from his phone. Quickly, he hugged Ellie and kissed my cheek before disappearing off. Ellie then stood up and retreated back to her room, locking the door so I couldn't get in and sobbing into her pillow.
