Okay, so the title sounds really awesome. So, you're thinking: Jason's gonna blow something up, or kill somebody. Actually, I need to let you down here: the death blow is actually to this story. For a couple of reasons:
1. If you guys hadn't noticed, it's been a year since I last updated this. I've kind of *insert disbelieving gasp here* moved on from the POJ fandom.
2. I've made this way too AU to rescue. (Hah, see what I did there? "Rescue"?) Initially, this was written because I was really sick of my friends bashing on Jason. I mean, yes, he's reminiscent of Percy, but Percy's generally a good dude, so it's not exactly a bad thing. And also, he's lost his memory. He could have done some really awesome things (like, for example, rescue Percy's mom from the Underworld and then get his mind wiped). I didn't really think beyond "Defend the character!"
And finally, (hopefully good news to those of you who are here for me and not for POJ):
3. I've been busy working on some other stuff. That will be up here.
