There was a new student coming to honey's class! Her name was jacki and she had autism but luckily was able to attend normal classes due to honey's  class being very respectful and kind and Honey being specially trained

"Ok everyone I want you to meet jacki! She is a very kind girl! She's actually a relative of Deputy Heeler's old kindergarten teacher Mrs Retriever!" Honey explained as the little shy golden retriever stood fidgeting her fingers in front of the whole class.

"Hi jacki!" The class said happily

"Have a seat next to Loki over there hun!" Said honey pointing at the empty seat next to Loki

Loki gave her a smile as she slowly walked up to the desk. And sat down.

Jacki was extremely shy and didn't know what to expect. But luckily Loki seemed friendlier than the kids from her last school...

*during Recess*

Jacki stood by the playground watching the other kids play with their friends around the school.

She was then approached by Loki

"H..hi." Said jacki stuttering a bit due to her speech impediment

"Hi! My name is Loki! What's your name?" Loki asked excitedly wagging his Pibble tail

"Um... my n..name is jacki. I'm a g-golden retriever!" Said jacki getting happy that someone was finally being kind to her

"I'm a pitbull! Some kids are scared of me!" Said Loki with a chuckle

"Y-you aren't s-scary!" Said Jacki finding Loki absolutely adorable as most people do

Something about Loki really helped jacki open up. She couldn't put her paw on it. Could it be his gentle southern accent? His kind and hospitable smile. She didn't know but he was a lot different than other people she's met.

"Thanks! Wanna be my friend?" Loki asked

"Y-yeah!" Said jacki

They ran around and played all kinds of different games getting to know each other!

Jacki explained to Loki what autism was to the best of her ability and the issues with bullying she's had. And the fact that she lives with her nana.

Jacki was so happy to have a friend!
She then noticed a red heeler with a tactical vest that said sheriff on the back and a ton of gear on her come into the school gates

She was intimidated but fascinated by the large heeler. She looked authoritative but gentle. She was tall and skinny. But the tactical equipment made her look bigger than she was

"W-who I..is that?" Jacki asked pointing at the heeler

"That's my mama! She's our school cop!" Said Loki

"W-wait. S-she is a h-heeler. H-how I-is she yo..ur mum?" Jacki asked curiously

"Well. She is technically not my mama by blood! But she adopted me after my real one passed away. Bless her soul." Said Loki shuddering a bit thinking about

"Oh yeah. I-I understand. I-I lo-st m-my mum and d-dad in a c-car a-accident." Said Jacki bowing her head in sadness

Loki gave a gentle smile and lifted her head up with his finger
