Time could never tear their bond
For each loved the other anew each meeting
Growing ever stronger in their bond
Sad was the fate of the Lover and his Moon
Every day he sang her his wild tune
He wove her tall tales
All adventures he witnessed he recounted
This all for his placid, silver white love
And she alone could hear his song
Reaching her through the void of space
In silence she would listen and in silence wish
But never could she return his lonesome calls
Her silence was held, for she ruled the night
Destiny forbade her speak, not a whisper not a sound
In vain she wished to return the call
But her song was never sung aloud
