Open to a crescent moon, partially hidden behind dark clouds in the night sky. Soon the moon was blocked out by the Mother of Invention flying by.
On the inside of the ship, Agent York had gotten up to take a walk to clear his head. As he did, he noticed a door partially opened into one of the other agent's rooms. There was a light coming out of it and he peeked inside.
He soon saw Carolina. Who was sitting before a screen. It showed three images: long shots of the heist, a stretch of the of the freeway bridge where Tex got the case, and the vault. All of these taken from her helmet camera with Arkham being in each one. There was a digital clock readout ticking over to 12:00 in the top right corner of the screen. She rested her head on her hands, which were supported by her elbows as she oversees each picture. Soon going over the footage captured by her helmet cam.
York: (yawning widely) "You still up?" (He walks in.)
Carolina: "I've got work to do."
York mulls this over for a second. He walks over and looks at the close-up of the highway view, the city where the heist took place and then the vault. Not a soul in sight on any of them.
York: "Well, whatever you're looking for is probably asleep, like you should be."
Carolina: "Yeah, I'll get on that."
She deadpanned and went back to her computer. York then took noticed of the pictures on Carolina's wall. They were locations of previous missions after the heist. At the center, was a weird drawing of someone in armor. Similar to the man York saw in Carolina's photos. The locations had lines of strings and pins to use as connectors. York saw a few raven feathers, and all of them being connected to a questions that was written: "Who is Arkham Raven?"
York, figuring it's probably best to ask about this later, left Carolina to her work. Though worried this may make her obsessed.
The next day, everyone but Carolina was in the chow hall getting breakfast. There weren't any missions today since the Director gave them a break.
In the hangar, a pelican drop ship is entered. The bay door of the ship opened up and out came a soldier. It was a male and had armor similar to Rhode Island's armor, just red with a gold visor and yellow flame decals and a skull insignia in his chest plate.
???: "Thanks for the ride."
Pilot: "No problem!"
The soldier walked out of the hangar and into the hallways as the soldiers and staff whispered about him.
Soldier 1: "Well well if it isn't the pyro?"
Tech 2: "Hey dude look who's back?"
Tech 1: "He's back?"
Soldier 2: "Guess Heatwave's back in town."
He paid no mind to the whispers as he entered the cafeteria and saw the others. Just chatting and eating,
He cleared his throat as he got his attention.
???: "Hey guys!"
