Valentine's POV

The annoying boy that goes by Stéphane Barreau, a really flirty 6-year-old. Where did he learn to flirt in the first place but really now his flirting is just getting on my nerves. "M'lady, would you like to dance?"

"No thank you but I quite sure another girl will dance with you," throwing in a bit of sass and sarcasm but it seems he did not understand

"Why m'lady I am quite sure you'd like to dance," he kept at it and these time he put his hand on my shoulder

And how did I find myself in this shitty situation? Good question let's revisit something shall we!

its been 6 years since I was born into this world and I learned I had 3 older brothers and 2 of which happen to be twins.

So I am just the only girl besides mom, kinda sad you know but it's fine even though they are really protective.

'Now I understand why the og.Valentine turned out the way she turned out,'

"Young Miss, your father has called a family meeting right now," Marley a maid of my fathers told me

"I see I will be down stairs once I have finished preparing," I said

"Young miss, he said it's urgent and everyone should be down there right now," she tried again

So I complied and went downstairs even though I really do not look presentable right now

"Valentine why do you look like that?" Mother kindly asked

"I was informed that we should be downstairs at the moment and I was about to have my maids get me ready," I told them I really did not like having maids do everything for me but they always insist and plus they've always caught me when ever I ran.

"I see," mother simply responded

"The time has come for Valentine to make her social debut into the society," father strictly announced ignoring my unprepared look, i can only imagine what i look like for every one to deadpan at the sight of me

"When is my debut?" I asked him

"In a week," he said bluntly

I had sent puppy dog eyes to Blaise my elder brother but surprise surprise he didn't help one bit and instead laughed

'That little shit'

"Do you not know what no means? Or are you dumb?" I asked him to which he looked quite offended but still persisted

"Ahhh" a high pitched voice as they fell right next to me "why did you do that?" She accused me with crocodile tears ready to pour out

"What do you mean by 'why did I do that?' I didn't do anything," I defended myself

"Val is everything okay?" Blaise asked as he walked over here

"Well everything was just fine but then somebody tripped over air and blamed me for it," I told him with a sarcastic smile and rolled my eyes

"But she tripped me," the girl tried to convince them. Key word TRIED.

"I sorry but from what I saw she was too busy rejected this idiot to trip you," a new voice said

'Ah great another person involved with this' I thought

'Why is everyone taking her side she's supposed to be the Villainess!!' A certain girl thought

"Who are you?" Florian asked the girl once he realized that she was causing trouble

"Léonie Cochet," she simply said hoping that someone was on her side

"I see, can someone please tell me why the i daughter of Viscount Cochet is accusing my younger sister," Florentine calmly said with a straight face

"But she did," she tried to tell them

"Just stop with the whining already, everybody has gotten sick of it," I told her off

"See she's even being rude," léonie tried once again

"Oh my god, being rude to someone doesn't mean they tripped the person," I told her with another sarcastic smile

But before she could retort somebody had started talking

"As we all know today is debut of my 6 year daughter, Valentine Lavinia." Father talked over everybody with mother standing by his side

"And with every debut comes their magic testing," mother finished

"Valentine will you come up here?" Father asked which got me to forget about the girl and walk up to the stage

"Ms Lavinia, your test will start here," a elderly man with a white rob told me as he took out a giant pearl

"Place your hand on it and pour a bit of mana into it," he talked again guiding me through the process

I placed my hand on pearl, closed my to find my mana only to find a warm ball of strings that I gently guiding into the ball

Before I opened my eyes I heard a shit ton of gasps, I opened my eyes to see the ball going from a black to a dark blue, and a rainbow?

"Sh-she has ,dark magic, water, and creation magic" The old man exclaimed before pulling out a another gem

"Place your and on this," he urged me and I did as he said

'This so boring I feel like a grandma is watching over me... oh wait I'm pretty sure he's a grandpa'

I placed my hand on top of the gem it went to a pink "beginner" the man announced to which there were a ton of gasps again

Nobody has been able to reach able to reach Grand King or above.

Usually you'd start at beginner or intermediate if your lucky and of high standing but it's absolutely rare for the commoners to start at intermediate.
