"Loueh!" Zayn shouted from across the room. Louis rolled his eyes at him and continued to school through the probable music options on his phone. "Louis William Tomlinson. I swear to god if you skip another one of my favourite songs, I will come there and make you regret your life's decision." Louis once again rolled his eyes but decided not to test Zayn, stopping at some random song by Taylor Swift. Just as Louis sat down across Zayn on their common dining table, Harry entered the room.

Harry was Louis' best friend and visited Louis and Zayn regularly. He knew pretty much everything there was to know about the two boys. Except one thing. What he didn't know was that Zayn had a massive crush on Harry. He had liked harry for almost 2 years but never had the guts to tell him. He feared rejection.

Upon entering Harry went directly to the kitchen to get some food. Louis looked at Zayn suggestively. Zayn just shook his head in response. Louis rolled his eyes at Zayn and said, "How long do you think you are going to keep this a secret for? I mean come on. Everyone except for that oblivious dufus in there knows." Louis said pointing at the kitchen. "And plus," Louis continued, "It's better if you tell him. What if someone let's him in on this? Look all I am saying is, I think it's about time you realise that if you don't take the initiative then you might lose him. What if he feels the same way but is too chicken to tell you?" Zayn looked at Louis unsure. Louis just nodded towards the kitchen. With a sigh Zayn gave up and made his way to the kitchen.

Harry was making a sandwich when Zayn entered the kitchen. Harry looked up and gave Zayn a small smile. With small tentative steps Zayn approached Harry. When Harry gave him a questioning look, he took a deep breath and let out all the feelings he had for harry in the past two years.

"I like you harry. Like 'Like' you. I have for 2 years now and I understand that I should have told you about this earlier but I was scared that you'd reject me. Which I wouldn't blame you if you did. I mean I get it if you don't feel the same way. You probably don't. Shit I should have never told you this. I didn't want to ruin our friendship and now it's always gonna be awkward. Ugh I am gonna kill Louis for making me do this. I should have never listened to--"

Zayn didn't get to finish his sentence. Harry's lips were soft. Zayn's hand found themselves latched onto Harry's neck. Harry's hands were lost in Zayn's hair.

As they stood there in the kitchen wrapped up in each other, Louis looked at Harry longingly. The boy his brother had a crush on for 2 years. The boy his brother was kissing. His best friend. The boy he had loved for 5 years but had been too chicken to tell him.
